What the Green Letters Mean in Crossword Go Solved Boards

Learn how to read the completed Crossword Go board images, including the difference between original prefilled letters and revealed answers.

The solved boards on Game Answer Hub show the entire crossword, but they also preserve a useful detail from the original puzzle: the letters that were already visible when the level began.

Green letters are prefilled letters from the game’s puzzle configuration. They are not letters that had to be guessed during play. Dark letters are the remaining answer letters that were hidden in the original board and are shown on the guide only so that the completed layout is easy to read.

This distinction is especially helpful when a clue has a short answer or shares letters with several words. You can look at the board and immediately see which crossings the game gave you as hints.

Open Crossword Go Level 1 to see a simple example. Its solved grid combines text prompts, image prompts, arrows, visible hints, and all completed answer squares in one layout.

The color convention is consistent across the generated boards. It lets you use a walkthrough as a light hint by focusing on the green letters first, or use it as a full solution by reading every filled answer cell.
